Week of December 16 Newsletter
I hope you all had a great week and enjoyed last night's performance! The students worked hard with Ms. Parker and it was a huge success!
HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE WEEK
On Monday, the students attend the San Diego Museum of Art where they learned all about ancient India art. Afterwards, they got to explore the museum and enjoy the different pieces of art the museum offers. There were a bunch of different paintings there that they studied here at school, which was a great realization for them!
On Thursday, the sixth graders met with their SK buddies to build gingerbread houses! It was a great bonding experience and helped the sixth graders with their leadership skills as they not only built their own, but they helped their buddies with theirs!
- The Egyptian Pyramid projects are due this Thursday, December 19. With that project and the tests/quizzes on Thursday, please do not have the students procrastinate.
- Tuesday will be our field trip to PACE Chula Vista where we will be singing carols with the seniors and touring their facility. Thank you Kim for helping with transportation. The students are looking forward to meeting and singing carols with everyone there!
- On Friday, we will be having our class party. I have talked with the students and what they would like to bring in for it. Please discuss with your child what they decided to bring in for the party. Thank you in advance for your help!
