September 3 Newsletter
Dear Fourth Grade Families,
I hope everyone had a safe, happy, and fun-filled Labor Day weekend! I spent mine paddleboarding on the bay, playing a little golf, and finding any way possible to stay cool with friends and family. I feel very blessed to be a part of this special community!
Thank you all for taking the tie to fill out the Friday journals that your students are bringing home. It is such a wonderful way to stay connected throughout the year, and it is wonderful to see the smiles on their faces as they read the sweet notes that you have written.
Tomorrow, students will have their first math quiz on Place Value. Different than a cumulative test, this is an opportunity for students to check in and see how they are doing on the content learned so far in each chapter. We have quizzes once a week or so, with a cumulative test at the end of each unit.
Back to School Night will be held from 5-7PM this Thursday, September 5. Fourth Grade will meet in the classroom at 5:00-5:45. There is a school wide meeting at
