Dear JK Families,
I hope you have all had a wonderful winter break!
Before the break, we read books about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln and learned that both men were great leaders known for their honesty. Has your child sung the song, “Do You Know?” for you yet? Ask him or her to sing it to let you know who is on the penny and who is on the quarter!
This week, the children will be learning about flowers and plants. They have already planted fruits, vegetables and flowers in our JK Garden with the help of our Garden Parents, Mariana, Patti, Ana and Willem. Many thanks to you all! This week, the children will plant seeds and more flowers as they learn about the life cycle of plants and the parts of a flower. The Letter of the Week will be “F” for Flower.
