February 3 Newsletter
Thank you to everyone who came and watched the Geography Bee! All of the students did an amazing job and I am proud of each student! Also, the students did an amazing job on their Great Wall of China Projects. Each student created their own unique project that represented the Great Wall of China really well. I am very proud of them.
All this week was The Great Kindness Week. The students participated in all different acts of kindness throughout the week and it was great to see them help each other throughout the week. I am encouraging them to keep this kindness challenge go not only through this week but everyday!
- Reminder that Student-Led Conferences are on Thursday, February 6. The conferences will be from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Right after, we will have an East Coast Trip meeting so we are all on the same page.
- The students received a “Learn Something New” project. They chose a new skill they wanted to achieve. In class today, we came up with a timeline for the requirements they need to complete this project. I ask that you allow the students to either take pictures of videos for this project so we can get a visual of them achieving their skill. If not, please have them add appropriate clipart to their reflection paper.
