December 9 Newsletter
Dear Fourth Grade Families,
For our class party this year, I’d like to celebrate our appreciation for each other with a Christmas breakfast and stocking party at school on Friday, December 20th. (Think Valentine's Day- each student has a stocking, and they bring in a stocking stuffer for each student in class). Please send a holiday or winter stocking to school with your child. We will hang the stockings in our class for the holidays until our class party. You can send in an old stocking that your child no longer needs at home, purchase a new stocking for a reasonable price, or you can even make a stocking together. If you are unable to do so, please let me know and I can provide one for him or her. Please have your child’s name on the stocking. We have 14 students in our class. Stocking stuffer ideas are: handmade cards, fun pencils, erasers, small Christmas themed items, candy, homemade items, bookmarks, small school supplies like pencil grippers, sticky notes, etc. There is no purchasing required, but please do not spend more than $15. Once all of our stockings are stuffed we will open them during our Christmas party. Please have students bring in their stockings by Monday, December 16. If you have any questions or need assistance in getting a stocking, please let me know.
