The 2022-2023 school year is off to a beautiful start, and we are grateful to have the energy and excitement of young children back on campus again.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the Parent Organization leadership team for organizing the Family Picnic and providing us with the opportunity to connect as a community and enjoy fellowship, food and fun. The Kona Ice truck was an extra special treat:)

There are a few reminders we wanted to share to make sure everyone has the information they need to support their children with some of the daily school routines:

• Campus opens at 7:45 am and school begins at 7:55 am.

• School ends at 2:55 pm except on Wednesdays when it ends at 2:00 pm

• Send all information regarding your child’s attendance at school to your classroom teacher and attendance@ccds.org.

• Classroom teachers will be sending weekly newsletters via email that will go out every Monday, and the Making Connections school newsletter will continue to go out every Friday.

• Take time to review the Family Handbook linked in the Resource section that provides details on all aspects of the CCDS school experience

Dear God,

I lift prayers today for our Christ Church Day School community as they prepare for a new school year.

Guide our students as they greet old friends, and create room in their circles for new friends to be included.

Bless our staff with the energy they need to connect our students and families.

Weave us together as a CCDS community, and help us to hold love at the root of all that we say and do. Amen
