Chapel

Chapel services are held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Family members are invited and encouraged to attend chapel services. Students in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade gather to worship together as a community during these services. The clergy of Christ Episcopal Church and the Christ Church Day School chaplain lead the services with Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Graders serving as acolytes, readers and chalice bearers.

The Holy Eucharist is celebrated on Tuesdays. Children may choose to participate by either receiving the Sacrament or a blessing. Morning Prayer is on Thursdays, and during that time each class chaplain will assist in the prayers for our school, the community, and the world..

Gathering for Chapel is fundamental to what it means to be a member of an Episcopal school community; reinforcing the ties between students, parents, teachers, and administration.
