Hello CCDS students, families and faculty!  I am very excited to be the music teacher and am looking forward to all the fun activities this school year will bring!

 

   I come to CCDS with a broad and varied background in teaching music to students of all ages for the past fifteen years.  I have taught in both the upper and lower school grades, in the university setting and in my own private studio.  Music is my gift to share and teaching is my passion!  It is a great way for us to communicate and learn self-expression while also working as a team! 

 

   My goal is to expose children to many different styles of music, help them develop a vocabulary for the performing arts, teach them music reading skills and help them discover the beauty of music and music-making.  We will sing, dance, play instruments and make a joyful noise!
