Dear CCDS Families,
How lovely and loving it was to share the Sunday Day School
Evensong service together as the light was streaming through
the beautiful stained glass window above the altar.
Thank you for your participation in the service. The following
words from part of the ancient psalm we read together were
especially meaningful to me. "Now as we come to the setting
of the sun and our eyes behold the vesper light, we sing your
praises, O God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit." It was on of those
occasions when we come together to honor what we value
as an Episcopal school. I know it takes a bit of effort to gather
everyone together in uniforms on a warm Sunday evening, but once we were all here,
I hope you felt the sense of community that binds us together.
On Friday morning I look forward to meeting with the 5th grade parents for coffee.
PS – I have seen the artwork for the auction, and it is awesome!
Thank you, Mrs. Koshland and CCDS students.
The next auction meeting is scheduled for
Thursday October 15th after drop off in Hinde Hall.
