Learning is a family affair at CCDS that requires active participation, collaboration, and support. So to be most effective, a child's education is a team effort of students, parents, teachers and administration.
CCDS offers many opportunities for parents to be involved. Whether actively involved in the parents' association, organizing the annual golf tournament/auction dinner, assisting in the classroom art appreciation program, or with field trips and holiday parties; parental contributions are a valued resource within the school. Parents also assist with the service learning projects. This involvement by parents produces the added benefit of enhancing the school's overall sense of community spirit.
